10th Feb 2021 In News By Jack Francis

Over the past year the world of 3D printing has expanded massively for a simple machine in your office to printing houses?

The idea of printing eco-friendly structures that are capable of living in has been one of the latest fads that have been growing over this last year. Multiple companies taking to the idea to find the best way of developing solutions that are both money-friendly and just as capable as anything else. Now the first ever generation of a fully printed house is available for purchase in New York (assuming it hasn't already been bought). It’s a relatively small home of just 1,500 sq ft, printed using concrete It is located on a 1/4 acre of land with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an attached 2 1/2 car garage, making it a suitable option for many.

Autonomous Robotic Construction System or ARCS was used to build the footings, foundations, interior, and exterior walls. All of this done on-site, and with a 50-year limited warranty. Which isn’t something you normally find these days at least not in Las Vegas.

The next towards a world of printed homes is seeing how this fist design will stand up against long term weather damage as well as the analytics surrounding enery conservation. For more technology news follow ADNS group on Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook today
